BALLYMEADE

The construction going on along Shrewsbury and Ballymeade and Rockmeade is Deldot modifying the curbs to allow for wheel chair (and baby carriage) access into the streets. This work is being done with funds provided by Bob Valihura and Cathy Cloutier's Deldot Funding. We asked for this two years ago and thanks to Bob and Cathy this improvement will benefit all those who walk, run, push, or wheel around our community!

An accomplishment & a challenge

Excellent. It's obvious that Ballymeade's leadership devoted considerable time and effort to this successful project. But there is irony in the mix, since many of the streets which are being made accessible are dangerous on a daily basis on account of speeding vehicles.

Curb Cutouts

I think the curb cut outs are great however our lawns were torn up. If the seeding they put down does not work are they responsible to come back and fix the lawns?
